This animation was for my independent study in Animation. I had to learn over 5 different styles of animation, and create pieces within them, in only 3 months. This was my first animation created; it is based around Aprilia Racing, which is a company I created a concept logo for as seen above on this site. The goal of this animation was to showcase the new line of domestic bikes that had recently rolled out into the market. I wanted to appeal to riders who like fast bikes that are of obvious high quality due to them being seen in racing performances. The subtle drawings were to shed a less professional light on Aprilia's reputation, while still aligning with branding standards. This was over 500 hand drawn frames with zero experience in animation mediums. I worked for about 15-20 hours on this assignment. I worked in Adobe Animate, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
